I took my sweet baby boy The Count to The Daily Rider on H Street to get his first ever tune-up. They say he’ll be ready on Friday, which is surprising considering I’ve taken terrible care of it.
I’m a little scared going so long without a bike, but I’ll probably be fine. I just wish there was some other reliable form of transit in this city.
Highlights
- I was on H Street and I didn’t even consider riding the Streetcar. What is wrong with me?
- While on H Street I DID get a taco and a PBR at Chupacabra, so my mind isn’t entirely broken.
- I decided to really treat myself for dinner tonight, so I grabbed my favorite meal: grocery store fried chicken.
- Rick and Morty season 2 is on Hulu. I still haven’t started OITNB season 4.

All six contestants won their pricing games today. Also, the woman who won the showcase had been on the show 11 years earlier. So that was pretty neat.
Best Moment: A stoned teen had a perfect round on Pathfinder.
Worst Moment: During the first Showcase Showdown a man said hi to his “daughter Laura in heaven.”
